Year 9 – 11

Throughout the intervention ‘Nutrition – C.S.I’ students explore a variety of foodstuffs that are commonly available on the market. The situations investigated include breakfast, foods in school tuckshops, afternoon snacks and fast food outlets.  Students are actively involved throughout and encouraged to identify the nutrition-related scenarios and explain how these can be solved.  Through forwarding suggestions and evaluating scenarios, students practise a variety of skills conducive to active learning.
