On the 1st of June 2016, HESC collaborated with MFSA to facilitate an intervention related to financial education & budgeting  as part of the course titled: Advancing in Society through Empowerment.  This course is organised by the National Council of Women and the Association for Consumer Rights [Malta]. Such course aims to tackle a variety of essential skills, including personal and social development as well as employment skills. Throughout the intervention, the participants were given the opportunity to discuss knowledge and skills which would ultimately guide them to make wise and effective consumer decisions. Through empowering the participants with such skills this will help them to: manage better their everyday activities such as household responsibilities and financial management; make better informed decisions.
